My original copy of this CD is either lost or sitting in a box deep in
the Bachelorette Pad garage. I remember when Bandwagonesque
was on the top of the charts on 120 Minutes and "The Concept"
was in heavy rotation on KROQ in those golden days of alternative
rock. Teenage Fanclub helped introduce me to the wry wit of Britpop,
and I love them for it. "What You Do to Me" perfectly combines fuzzy
electric guitar and classic love lyrics, while "Alcoholiday" has that
feeling of yearning that I so appreciate. I like a little irony with
my melody.
