Neurosis

Many many many times over the past few weeks it became wise to turn off
my usual evening NPR and put on this album instead. There is no better
way to cope with a world gone mad than with some thoughtful sludgy
metal. I just close my eyes and let it wash over me. It's not a
coincidence that I use the heavy stuff when I'm recovering from a broken
heart as well. I'm proud to say that Neurosis hail from Oakland,
just to prove much good comes out of the East Bay.
