Music of the Spheres
Ian Brown
I brought this one back with me from London, and I think this might be one of those albums the label never sees fit to release States-side. It's too bad because it's a great album, though British through and through. I happen to love that. Ian Brown is perhaps best known for being the frontman for the Stone Roses, and I won't mislead you into thinking this is as good as anything they did. This album does deliver the goods, however, with skillful songcraft, gorgeous production, and Brown's wonderfully distinctive voice. As a litwank I'm partial to the title of the album as well.
