Excerpts from zines published in 1999. Do not be fooled by the slim
appearance of this volume; it is absolutely packed to the gills
with amazing stuff. There are nearly 50 pieces in here, drawn from
zines with circulations of less than 5,000 copies per issue (so
Bust doesn't qualify), with complete contact info for each
publication. Inside I found comics, manifestos, DIY banjo
instructions, punk rock parents, and an interview with Vanilla
Ice. My favorites were two pieces that Jessica Mills wrote for
Yard Wide Yarns entitled respectively "Hey Baby!" and "Gettin'
Hitched — Eloping Style!" Both of them made me sniffle with
happiness.
